Terms of Service
Who we are. Steffen Römer, trading as “Tutorilla”, Straße der Pariser Kommune 27, 10243 Berlin, Germany. Contact: contact@tutorilla.com.
Eligibility. 16+ in the EU/EEA (or the age of digital consent in your country) and 13+ in the US. Under that age, verifiable parental consent is required.
User content & license. You retain ownership of your content. You grant Tutorilla a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free license to host, store, cache, reproduce, display, distribute, and make technical copies solely to operate and improve the service, including public display if you choose to publish.
AI‑generated/assisted content. AI outputs may be inaccurate or inappropriate and are not professional advice. You must review and fact‑check AI content before publishing, and label AI‑assisted content where not obvious. You may not post content that infringes third‑party rights or violates the Acceptable Use Policy.
Moderation; DSA/DMCA. We may act on content to comply with law and our policies. EU users may submit notices about allegedly illegal content via the DSA Notice & Action section below. Copyright claims in the US are handled via DMCA (below). When we take action, we provide a statement of reasons and offer an internal complaint channel where required.
Prohibited uses. See the Acceptable Use Policy below.
Subscriptions & billing. Subscriptions auto‑renew until cancelled. You can cancel anytime for the next billing period; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid term. The next renewal date is shown in your account. EU withdrawal: 14‑day right of withdrawal (see section below). If the service is fully performed within 14 days with your express consent and acknowledgment of losing the right of withdrawal, the right expires early.
Third‑party services. Integrations (e.g., model providers, hosting, analytics, payments) are subject to their own terms and privacy notices.
Disclaimers. Service and content are provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties (merchantability, fitness, non‑infringement).
Limitation of liability. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability is limited to amounts you paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to liability.
Indemnity. You will indemnify Tutorilla for claims arising from your content or violations of these Terms or law.
Termination. You may stop using the Service anytime. We may suspend or terminate for material violations.
Governing law; venue. For EU/EEA users: German law (mandatory consumer protection law of your residence remains unaffected). Venue for merchants: Berlin; consumers: statutory venue rules. For US users (optional clause): laws of the State of [State], venue [County, State].
Section 230 notice (US). Tutorilla is an “interactive computer service” under 47 U.S.C. § 230 and is not liable for third‑party content, to the extent applicable.
Changes. We may update these Terms and will notify you of material changes in advance.

Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to upload, generate, or share content that is illegal; infringes IP or publicity/privacy rights; is defamatory, discriminatory, or harassing; doxxes others or reveals sensitive personal data; contains malware/exploits/phishing or instructions to bypass security; facilitates fraud or deception; violates export/sanctions laws; abuses the platform (spam, fake engagement, scraping, interference); or misleads users about AI content (e.g., undisclosed deepfakes). We may act and suspend repeat offenders.
Content & IP Policy
Ownership. Creators own their content; you grant Tutorilla the limited license necessary to operate the service.
Copyright. Use our DMCA process (US) or DSA notice (EU) to report illegal content. We remove content on valid notices and may terminate repeat infringers.
Trademarks & publicity rights. No confusing uses of others’ marks; don’t post others’ name/image/likeness without permission where required.
Counter‑notice (US). If your content was removed under DMCA and you believe it’s a mistake, see the counter‑notice section below.

How to file a notice (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)). A valid notice includes: (1) your signature; (2) identification of the copyrighted work; (3) identification of the infringing material and its location (URL); (4) your contact info; (5) a good‑faith statement that the use is not authorized; (6) a statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, you are authorized to act. Send to the Designated Agent above.
Counter‑notification (17 U.S.C. § 512(g)). Include: your signature; identification of the removed material and its prior location; a statement, under penalty of perjury, of good‑faith belief of mistake/misidentification; your name, address, phone; consent to jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for your address (or any district where we may be found if outside the US) and acceptance of service from the original claimant.
Repeat infringers. We terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
DSA Notice & Action (EU)
Use this to report allegedly illegal content hosted on Tutorilla. We review valid notices and take appropriate action. If we act, we provide a statement of reasons.
Required fields (Article 16 DSA):
- Your full name and email address.
- A sufficiently substantiated explanation of why the content is illegal (identify the legal provision).
- The exact electronic location (URL(s)) of the content.
- A good‑faith statement: “I have a good‑faith belief that the information in this notice is accurate and that I am the rights holder or authorized to act.”
- Optional: relationship to the content and supporting evidence.
